Removal of Public Shade Trees
Pursuant to Massachusetts General Law Chapter 87, Sections 3 and 4, a public hearing will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 4:30 PM using an online video/audio conferencing platform in accordance with Governor Baker’s executive order during the State of Emergency for the COVID-19 pandemic, to consider the removal of the following trees on:

AS2 | Spruce Street | Arch Street – same as above plus tree is deteriorating | Triple stem |
PSP1 | Norway Maple | Park Street Park – safety reasons. Branches and pieces coming off regularly. Park redesign with new plantings. | 40” |
PSP2 | Norway Maple | Park Street Park – same as above. | 30” |
29CS1 | Maple | 29 Central Street – removal at homeowner request due to roots invading sewer line, twice. | 32” |
The trees identified above have been posted for public inspection. Any objections to their removal must be submitted in writing to prior to or during the hearing.
